Now that it's September, Chris is working on stockpiling as many wooden toys and dishes as he can so that we will be able to meet the demand of the Christmas shopping season in our Etsy shop. It worked out well that he has had a lay off of a few weeks from his regular job, so he can spend some serious time in his workshop.
Our shelves are quickly filling with my husband's lovely work. And seeing all those good things stacked up, made me want to give something away!
I decided to give away a baby spoon and bowl set. The bowls are made of sugar maple (the hardest kind of maple), hand turned by Chris on his lathe. The spoons are also made of maple and hand carved. You can read more about the set here.
To enter, just leave a comment. Open to everyone, worldwide. For an additional entry, mention this giveaway on your blog, Twitter, or Facebook, and leave another comment here. I will use a random number generator to pick a winner on Monday, September 12th. Thanks for entering, and Good luck!
Comments Closed! And the lucky winner is...
Sonja, who commented "Oh, I love your work. Thanks for the opportunity!."
I'll be in touch with you shortly, Sonja. :)
Your husbands hand work is just beautiful. I have a little 7 month old boy new to eating that would love such a bowl.
