Today our family business has been featured on the Etsy blog. Check it out!
For all those who are visiting here from Etsy, Welcome! Here is a post that will tell you some more about us if you're interested.
I am a book-loving, nature-loving, homeschooling mom to four children, and married to my highschool sweetheart. In my blog, Getting There, I write about our journey towards a more simple, meaningful, and self-reliant life.
What a wonderful blessing Laura!!!
Congratulations.
Warm wishes, Tonya

Congratulations on the feature! I usually just look at the photos on the Etsy blog and gloss over the post, but this morning your beautiful wooden pieces jumped out at me and I had to stop and read every word. I visited your Etsy shop to make sure I remembered to add it to my favorites and it was already there! Your products are exactly what I want my future kids to be surrounded with - beautiful, natural, and made with hard work and love. I'll be sending my mother-in-law a link to your shop when we have our announcement to make....Thank you!

Congrats. I love your etsy story and how your family is put first. I have my own Etsy shop and now my daughter is involved. We make a great team. I'm so glad I found your blog because we were just thinking of a simpler way of life and how to achieve it. I'm so happy for you and your family. It is now my top goal to achieve.
Many Blessings
Lisa & Allison

Loved your QYDJ story on etsy. My daughter and I also have an etsy shop and it has grown beyond what we ever imagined. With hard work anything is possible. Congrats on your success and much more to come!

Had to come back to this and tell you how much I enjoyed reading your interview. (Holding the babe sometimes doesn't let me leave comments!) Your story is quite inspiring, and it's wonderful how you've managed to weave together work, homeschooling, and family life. Thanks for sharing it!
